What kind of food is harmful to children's health?

Unhealthy and harmful foods are foods that children should avoid because if eaten regularly, it will increase the risk of diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney disease, heart and blood vessel disease, and may even lead to blindness, paralysis, and hemiplegia in adults and the elderly.

Types of food that are harmful to children's health include:


1.Snacks
Most of the snacks sold in the market have no nutritional value, but are rich in starch, sugar, fat, salt, and some also contain lead, which is harmful to health, causing the body to receive less important nutrients from the main meal, causing nutritional deficiencies and many chronic diseases, such as diabetes, kidney disease, hypertension, etc.

2.Foods with very sweet tastes.
Eating foods with very sweet tastes, such as cakes, candies, jelly, soft drinks, sweet drinks, smoothies, iced coffee, etc., or adding sugar to cooked food, increases energy intake, resulting in easy obesity. In addition, it also causes tooth decay and increases the risk of diabetes.

3.Very salty food. 
Very salty food, such as adding salty seasonings to cooked food, pickled food, salty snacks such as fish sticks, snacks, etc., increase the risk of high blood pressure, especially for people who do not eat vegetables or fruits. It also increases the risk of kidney disease and stomach cancer.

4.High fat foods
Cause high blood cholesterol levels and can easily cause blockage of blood vessels. This is the cause of coronary heart disease, stroke, and paralysis. Types of food high in fat include fatty meats, deep-fried foods, bakery products, and fast food.

5.Unclean food and contamination.
Contaminated food is caused by unsanitary production, cooking, and distribution processes, or by unsuitable environments or the use of substandard food additives, which can cause germs, parasites, and toxic chemicals. These contaminated foods are the cause of food poisoning and illnesses with gastrointestinal diseases.
